Learn & Discover
At Vipe Fun Park, children don't have to choose between having fun and learning something new. They can do both.

Ask About CBE
A visual introduction to traditional instruments, creative expression and cultural learning.

A garden-based learning and discovery experience, where children can look closely at growing things and ask their own questions.
Ask About the GardenInside the CBE Centre
The CBE Centre has set-up learning spaces where children can see, handle and talk about what they are learning.

Clay modelling, ornaments, beadwork and painting are set out so children can see the techniques and try their own.

Drums, lyres, shakers and other indigenous instruments are displayed and played in the music area.

Everyday items — kitchen utensils, personal care items, clothing and sources of heat and light — are grouped for hands-on learning.

The centre is a covered space with seating, used for learning sessions and school group visits.

Learning displays line the front of the centre, with chairs and tables arranged for visiting classes.
CBE Garden
Part of the garden is set up for hydroponic growing, where plants grow in water-fed pipes and towers built from recycled containers.

Towers made from recycled containers hold rows of seedlings, each fed by a drip bottle.

Strawberry plants grow along raised pipes, so children can see the roots and fruit forming.

Lettuce and herbs grow in stacked pipes — a simple way to show how plants take up water and nutrients.

The garden shows how bottles, pipes and containers can be reused to grow food in a small space.

Animal viewing
Animal viewing gives children and families another opportunity to observe, talk and discover something new together.
The animals
Children can walk around the animal area and take their time looking at each enclosure.

Crocodiles rest beside the water in their walled enclosure, viewed safely from outside.

On warm days the crocodiles stretch out on the sand next to their pool.

The enclosure fence lets children look closely while staying at a safe distance.

Tortoises move slowly around their pen, with fresh greens and water nearby.

Several tortoises share the same pen and gather where the food is laid out.

Up close, children can see the patterned shell that makes each tortoise different.

Goats stand together in their shelter, always curious about visitors.

Sheep rest on the grass under the shade of the trees.

Doves perch and flutter inside their aviary.

Chickens feed and move about in their enclosure.

Smaller animals like rabbits and guinea pigs live in hutches children can peek into.
